More than likely you are a first time home buyer if any of the following are true:

• You have been renting an apartment
• You have been renting a home from a private owner
• You have been living with a friend or family member
• You have not taken out a mortgage for a home in your name
• You have not been a co-signer on a mortgage for anyone
